Mike is an industry leader in high voltage Protection & Control design. As Director of Substation Engineering and Principal P&C Engineer at Phasor, he guides the daily operations of the substation engineering design team. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master of Science from the University of Calgary focusing on power system protection. He’s also an accomplished author with publications in technical journals and conferences papers.  His portfolio showcases pioneering achievements, such as North America’s inaugural 61850 application using PRP and intricate automation solutions for bus transfer and load restoration.
